Lee Country Sees a 6% Increase in Home Prices in One Month


Home Prices on the Rise Home sales have been increasing for the first and second quarter of 2008 with May 2008 showing an additional 2 percent gain. Another important indicator is that in May 2008 the Median price in Lee Country Florida increased 6% or from 200,300.00 to 212,400.00 over the previous month. Nationally re-sales increased 2% and the Median price dropped showing a stronger market in Southwest Florida than the country as a whole. If you look over the past quarter you will see increased real estate sales, reduced building inventory and rising prices, which are all good signs for the Southwest Florida real estate market.
